When you create an account, we collect information provided through our authentication provider, Clerk, including your name, email address, and profile picture. If you sign in using a third-party service such as Google, we receive basic profile information from that provider.

Service and Booking Data

We collect information you provide when creating services, defining service zones, setting schedules, and managing bookings. This includes service descriptions, pricing, availability schedules, and booking details.

Location Data

We collect location data when you define service zones using Google Maps, including addresses, geographic coordinates, and zone boundaries. We use this data to enable location-based scheduling and to match customers with nearby service providers.

Usage and Analytics Data

We automatically collect information about how you interact with the Service, including pages visited, features used, and actions taken. This data helps us improve the platform and user experience.

How We Use Your Information

• Facilitate scheduling and booking between service providers and customers

Third-Party Services

We may add additional service providers in the future, including payment processors and analytics tools. This policy will be updated accordingly.

Google API Services User Data Policy

If you sign in to Roam using your Google account, our use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

• We only access basic Google profile information (name, email, profile picture) for authentication purposes.
• We do not use Google user data for advertising or sell it to third parties.
• We do not use Google user data to build user profiles for purposes unrelated to the Service.
• We limit our use of Google user data to providing and improving the Service.

Data Retention and Deletion

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you with the Service. If you wish to delete your account and associated data, you may contact us at the address below. Upon receiving a verified deletion request, we will delete your personal information within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

Booking records may be retained in anonymized form for analytics and reporting purposes after account deletion.

Cookies and Tracking

We use essential cookies to maintain your authentication session (managed by Clerk) and to ensure the proper functioning of the Service. We do not use third-party advertising cookies or trackers.

In the future, we may implement analytics cookies to understand usage patterns. If we do, we will update this policy and provide appropriate notice and controls.
